3 Stages of Filtration Provide Powerful Clean Air Results. The LA-2000-MC’s triple-action filtering system works like a pollution magnet, trapping up to 97% of particles as small as one-millionth of an inch for a healthier business or industrial environment.

• Stage 1 – Pre-Filter
  The pre-filter keeps your LA-2000-MC electronic carbon air cleaner running at peak performance. It helps to protect the media filter from large particles including dust, hair, pollen, lint, etc.
  The pre-filter is washable but should be replaced if showing signs of wear & tear.
• Stage 2 – MERV 14 Media Filter
  Small particles that pass through the pre-filter are captured in the super-efficient MERV 14 pleated media filter. A MERV-14 Filter has a Dust Spot Efficiency rating of 90-95% and an Arrestance rating of >98%. It controls most tobacco smoke and is super-effective in Smoking Lounges. The extended surface area of this filter ensures the removal of most tobacco smoke, airborne dust, lint, mold spores, pollen, etc.
  The MERV-14 media filter cannot be washed and should be replaced annually.
• Stage 3 – ULTRA Carbon After-Filter
  With its 7-pound carbon filter, the LA-2000-MC will provide extra protection from harmful VOCs, gasses, and odors. Carbon is KING when it comes to removing cigarette smoke odor, cigar smoke odors, gas, and chemicals from the air that passes through it. The carbon adsorbs airborne chemicals including formaldehyde, toluene, benzene, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and more.
  Carbon cannot be washed and should be replaced every 12-18 months, depending on the severity of pollutants.
