The AirMac SAM-1600E Air Scrubber is a powerful electrostatic negative pressure air cleaner. This unit will provide up to 1600 CFM of air purification.

The SAM-1600E Air Scrubber is a safe and effective clean air machine. Made in the USA, the high-quality filtration includes DUAL electrostatic cells. Electrostatic Filtration provides over 5,000 square inches of airborne particle collection. It’s over 97% efficient on particles as small as 0.1 microns. Electrostatic cells are washable and reusable. The SAM-1600E comes with 1/4 20 nut inserts to allow for several mounting options.

The AirMac SAM-1600E Negative Pressure Air Scrubber comes complete with a 12-inch duct flange, 1 full set of filters (pre-filter, 2 electrostatic cells), and a 10-foot power cord.

How does the SAM-1600E Air Scrubber Work?

The Air Scrubbing process begins with the intake – a heavy-duty screen – which is followed by a metal mesh MERV 2 pre-filter. This filter is designed to capture larger particles including dust, hair, and lint.

The air then passes through Dual Electrostatic Cells. The first stage of the electrostatic cell is the ionizing section.  Here, the particles are given an electrostatic charge.  The particles then move through the collection area where they are deposited on aluminum plates.  The trapped particles are washed away with regular maintenance. Electrostatic cells provide the most accurate CFM as they do not have any restrictive filter media to pass through. They are an excellent choice for tobacco smoke removal.

DUAL German blower motors, designed for efficiency and super-quiet operation, ensure a 1,600 CFM discharge of pure, clean, fresh air.
