The AirMac SAM-950HUV Air Scrubber is a powerful negative pressure air cleaner. This unit will provide up to 950 CFM of air purification.

The SAM-950-HUV Air Scrubber is a safe and effective clean air machine. Made in the USA, the high-quality filtration includes a TRUE HEPA filter, Germicidal Ultraviolet, and Activated Carbon. The SAM-950-HUV comes with 1/4 20 nut inserts to allow for several mounting options.

The AirMac SAM-950-HUV Negative Pressure Air Scrubber comes complete with a 12-inch duct flange, 1 full set of filters (pre-filter, HEPA filter, UV lamp chamber with 2 pounds of carbon), and a 10-foot power cord.

How does the AirMac SAM-950-HUV Air Scrubber Work?

The Air Scrubbing process begins with the intake – a heavy-duty screen – and is followed by a metal mesh MERV 2 pre-filter. This filter is designed to capture larger particles including dust, hair, and lint.

The Next Stage is a true HEPA filter that removes 99.97% of all airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns from the air. It is a tight weave of synthetic materials that trap just about anything you might want to rid from the air, including dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, as well as other airborne particles 0.3 microns or larger.

The air then passes through a UV light chamber where airborne microorganisms are killed. Ultraviolet light destroys viruses, bacteria, and other live organisms that come into close proximity with UV-C rays. The high-quality UV lamps are spaced closely together to produce a high kill rate. The UV Section also contains a 2-pound activated carbon filter. This makes for a super-high level of clean and odor-free air.
